AsianMelodiesCam is a live video chat service with one-on-one matches, live streams you can watch and member clubs. Here, "we" and "us" mean the team that operates it, and "you" means anyone who visits, whether you stay a guest or create an account.
The policy applies to everything you do on asianmelodiescam.com: random matches, calls and messages from profiles, live streams, gifts, clubs and support emails. Other websites are not covered, even if someone shares a link to one in a chat. Their own policies apply there.
Some details you hand to us on purpose. Others are produced simply because a browser is talking to our servers. A few come from partners who help us run the service, such as payment processors.
We use information to run the features you ask for and keep them safe. Concretely, that means pairing you with someone for a match, showing who is online, delivering messages and gifts, translating typed messages, remembering whom you follow and keeping your coin balance accurate.
We also use it to protect people. Reports, blocks and patterns of behavior help us spot accounts that break the rules. Device and network details help us stop spam, repeated bans and payment fraud. Finally, we look at usage in aggregate to understand which parts of the site work and which need fixing.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private conversations to build advertising profiles.
The person you are chatting with sees what you show them: your display name, your profile photo, your camera and microphone if you turn them on, and what you type. Viewers in a live stream see your comments and gifts under your display name. Whatever you post in a club is visible to that club's members.
Behind the scenes, a small number of service providers handle things we do not run ourselves, such as hosting, video delivery, payment processing and email. They only receive what they need to do that job and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may share information when the law requires it, to answer a valid legal request, or to protect someone from serious harm. If the service ever changes ownership, this policy continues to apply to information collected under it.
Video and voice in a one-on-one chat travel between you and the other person so that you can see and hear each other. Live streams are broadcast to the viewers who open them. Treat anything you show on camera as something the other side could see in full.
People on the other side of a chat could misuse what they see, for example by capturing their own screen. That is against our rules and grounds for removal, but no website can make it technically impossible, so share only what you are comfortable sharing.
We keep account details while your account exists and for a limited time afterwards, so we can handle disputes, refunds and safety reports. Records of purchases stay for as long as tax and accounting law asks. Reports and enforcement decisions are kept long enough to stop banned users from simply coming back.
Guest activity that is not tied to an account is kept for a shorter period and then removed or made anonymous. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify anyone may be kept longer.
You can change your display name and profile photo in your settings, turn your camera and microphone off at any time through your browser, and block anyone you do not want to hear from. You can stop using the site whenever you like.
To ask for a copy of your information, to correct it or to have your account deleted, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to a data protection authority. We will help you exercise them.
AsianMelodiesCam is only for people aged eighteen and over. We never knowingly take in information about anyone under that age.
