What it is: the name and picture other people see next to your chats, comments and posts. Guests get a default name until they change it.
Why: so the people you talk to, and viewers in a live stream, know who they are talking to, and so you can find each other again after following.
Your control: change either one in your settings whenever you like. A nickname works just as well as your real name.
What it is: the address you give when creating an account or writing to support.
Why: to identify your account, let you recover it, send important service notices and answer your support questions.
Your control: you only share it if you register or email us. Ask support to update it or to delete your account.
What it is: the live video and audio from your device during a video or voice chat.
Why: that is the service. The person you match with needs to see and hear you, just as you see and hear them.
Your control: your browser asks for permission and you can revoke it at any time in its settings. You can also choose text matches and keep your camera off entirely.
What it is: the text, photos and short videos you send in private messages, in live stream comments and in clubs.
Why: to deliver them to the people you meant them for, to translate typed messages automatically, and to review them when someone reports a problem.
Your control: you choose what to send. Delete posts where the feature allows it, and block anyone you no longer want to hear from.
What it is: the list of people you follow, the people you have blocked and any reports you have filed or that others filed about you.
Why: follows let you find people again; blocks stop unwanted contact; reports help us enforce the rules and keep everyone safer.
Your control: unfollow or unblock at any time. Reports you file stay with us so we can act on them.
What it is: your coin balance, VIP status, purchase history and gifts sent in live streams, plus a payment reference from our payment partner.
Why: to keep your balance correct, deliver what you paid for, handle refunds and disputes, prevent fraud and meet accounting rules.
Your control: buying anything is entirely optional. We never receive your full card number; that stays with the payment provider.
What it is: browser type and version, operating system, screen size, language, IP address and the approximate location it suggests.
Why: to make video work on your device, show the site in the right layout and language, detect abuse and repeated ban evasion, and fix technical problems.
Your control: this is sent automatically by any browser. You can limit what your browser shares through its own privacy settings.
What it is: which pages and features you use and when, stored partly in cookies and local storage in your browser.
Why: to keep you signed in or remember your guest session, save preferences, and understand in aggregate how people use the site so we can improve it.
Your control: clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time. As a guest, that also resets your session on this device.
What it is: what you write to [email protected], along with any screenshots you attach.
Why: to understand and solve your problem, and to keep a record in case it comes up again.
Your control: share only what is needed to fix the issue, and never send your full card number or passwords.
We do not ask for your home address, your phone contacts, your photo library or your location from GPS. We do not ask for identity documents to start chatting, and we do not read other apps or tabs on your device.
We also do not need your real name. A nickname is perfectly fine for everything on the site, from random matches to clubs, and most people use one.
Write to support from the address linked to your account and tell us what you would like removed: a single post, your profile photo, or the whole account. We confirm once it is done. Some records, such as purchase receipts and reports about rule breaking, may be kept for a limited time where the law or safety requires it, and the privacy policy explains why.
